August 29, Vilnius – the Embassy participated together with the members of the diaspora and the president of the Romanian Language and Culture Association "Dacia", Lucia Bartkiene, in the visit to the Lithuanian city of Anykšciai, as well as at the meeting with the director of the city’s library, Romas Kutka. On Alley of Languages, in the library courtyard, there is a greeting plate in Romanian "Hello/Bună Ziua", along with those in Lithuanian, French, Georgian, Norwegian, Czech, Romanian, Estonian, Latvian, Hebrew. The event was an excellent opportunity to reiterate to the members of the diaspora the most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova.

Moreover, Ambassador Sergiu Mihov donated a book "Patrimony of the Republic of Moldova" for the Library of Anykšciai, as well as a collection of 8 volumes of the national poet Mihai Eminescu for the library of the Romanian Language and Culture Association "Dacia".
